Students & Guides live in the Campus of al-Farabi Kazakh National University.

Al-Farabi Kazakh National University is the leading institution of the system of higher education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, which was the first to pass the state certification and which has justified its right to realize academic activity on all specialties and at all levels.

The university consists of 14 functioning faculties, 98 departments, 20 scientific research institutes and centers, a techno-park; more than 2 000 professors, doctors, scientific candidates and PhD’s, more than 100 academicians of the largest academies, about 30 honored figures of the Republic of Kazakhstan, more than 30 laureates of State and nominal awards of RK and 40 laureates of the young scientists’ awards, 45 fellows of state scientific fellowships. More than 18 000 students and masters at the multilevel system of higher professional education study in the university.

All the GA meetings, Q/A and Conferences are held in the Atakent Park Hotel Conference Halls and Red Hall al-Farabi Kazakh National University.

Opening and closing ceremony will be held in the U.A. Dzholdasbekov Palace of Students

U.A. Dzholdasbekov Palace of Students is a concert hall that comes into al-Farabi Kazakh National University complex. It hosts public cultural and entertainment events, organize meetings of students and concerts with the artists, there are Amateur clubs.

The International Olympiad in Informatics (IOI) is an annual competitive programming competition for secondary school students. The first IOI was held in 1989 in Pravetz, Bulgaria.
